Thomas Armstrong

Thomas F. Armstrong, Landscape Architect, owner of Toms Ponds, is a man that creates works of art that will please each and every client. Since the founding of Toms Ponds in 1995, Thomas has completed over 400 projects throughout the Sunshine State. Among these unique artistic creations are included the Kanki Japanese Steakhouse courtyard gardens, the model homes of Pablo Bay, the stone stairwell of Lake Asbury, the Good Samaritan Episcopal Church meditation garden of Orange Park, the 10,000sqft Alpine Forest garden feature at the 2002 Florida Home and Patio Show which earned the Best of Jacksonville presented by DMG World Media, Amelia Island Asbury Park, the prestigious Cheval Chateau, Cheval Athletic Club, and Tampa Bay’s premier Cheval Golf and Country Club.

During this period of time Thomas has trained two architectural interns. One student graduated from the University of Berlin, Germany, who subsequently took part in the world famous waterworks of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. The other graduated from the University of Florida and went on to become Master Gardener at the Botanical Gardens of British Columbia. Thomas is currently developing a horticultural apprentice and is paving the way to beautify Tampa Bay.

Toms Ponds is a member of the Tampa Bay Business Guild, Florida Justice Transitions, the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Professional Landscape Services Association of Florida, Jacksonville Society, and the Global University Club Network.
